Dubai Shopping

The shopping made in Dubai were somewhat different from those that we are normally used to do. The aim was different, the purchases were exclusively devoted to some festivities that will follow in the coming months, but at the right time I will tell you. Nor I am showing you the outfits in full because it would reveal absolutely everything now, and it wouldn’t be surprising later on.

As you have noticed they are indian costumes, known as sarees. Due to its proximity to countries like India and Pakistan, Dubai is very rich in indian fabrics and outfits. What do you think, do you like it? Stay tuned tomorrow for a surprise!

As compras feitas no Dubai foram um pouco diferentes das compras que habitualmente estamos acostumados a fazer. O objectivo era outro, as compras foram exclusivamente dedicadas a algumas festividades que se seguirão nos próximos meses, mas que no momento certo irei contar-vos. Também não vos estou a mostrar os fatos por completo senão seria revelar absolutamente tudo e ai mais tarde perderia a graça.

Como já devem ter percebidos são trajes indianos, conhecidos como sarees. Devido à proximidade de países como a Índia e o Paquistão, o Dubai é muito rico em tecidos e trajes indianos. O que acham, gostam? Fiquem atentos amanhã terão uma surpresa!

My First Spring Purchases

You asked for and here you have my first purchases of this spring. They are not many but I can already start using combining them with one or another winter piece because in my opinion it's still cold. The colors are pastel and nude, the patterns are floral and navajo and denim always looking good. What do you think, do you like them?

Vocês pediram e aqui estão as minhas primeiras compras desta primavera. Não são muitas mas já dá para começar a usar uma ou outra peça combinando ainda com peças de inverno que na minha opinião ainda faz frio. As cores são pasteis e nude, os padrões são florais e navajo e o denim sempre em alta. O que acham, gostam?

Frenzy Shopping in Madrid

Let me tell you about my trip to Madrid starting form the end. I've had some time on Saturday morning to go to shopping before I left. Sales in Madrid are amazing and the variety of shops is bigger than in Portugal (also, we seek for things that are different from our country).

A store that I love and still does not exist in Portugal (nor via online) is Maje. I was after these shorts for a long time but  I had given up the idea because as I said they do not do deliveries here, but when I saw all with 50% I could not resist (the shorts are a bit big but that can be fixed). The black top is a basic piece but we always need the basics, and the sandals are a treat! As you know already I have got a thing for shoes.

The boots are from a store named Torero. I did not know it very well but it’s even cheaper than Blanco or Stradivarius. It debuted in the Bon Jovi concert as you can see from the previous post, needless to say I left there with so much dust.

What do you think of my purchases in Madrid?

Vou contar-vos a minha ida a Madrid a partir do final. Sempre tive um tempinho no sábado de manhã para ir às compras. Os saldos em Madrid são incríveis e mesmo a variedade de lojas é maior que em Portugal (ou então somos nós que quando vamos para fora procuramos coisas que sejam diferentes das do nosso país).

Uma loja que adoro e ainda não existe em Portugal (nem via online) é a Maje. Já andava atrás destes calções à imenso tempo mas já tinha desistido da ideia porque como disse não fazem entregas cá, mas quando vi tudo a 50% não resisti (estão um pouco grandes mas isso arranja-se). O top é básico e os básicos sempre fazem falta e as sandálias são um mimo, como sabem tenho pancada por sapatos.

As botas são da Torero uma loja que não conhecia muito bem que é ainda mais barata que a Blanco ou Stradivarius. Já as estreei no concerto do Bon Jovi como podem ver no post anterior, escusado será dizer que sairam de lá brancas com tanto poeira.

After looking for so long I finally found it!

Que presente tão lindo! Só pelo embrulho já amei! Mas não, fui eu que ofereci a mim mesma, às vezes sabe bem... época natalícia a chegar, consumismo a aumentar.

What a beautiful gift! Just the wrap by itself was amazing! But no, it is not a gift, or it is a gift that I offered to myself, sometimes it feels good ... coming holiday season, consumerism increases.

Lanvin ♥ H&M

Finalmente, hoje foi o dia em que Lanvin chegou à H&M.

Com tantos artigos, notícias e posts publicados, achei que já não havia interesse em publicar mais um. Mas não resisti e isto porque decidi deixar levar me pela loucura e ir até à H&M no Chiado (a única que terá peças Lanvin à venda caso não acabe tudo hoje que é o mais provável).

Cheguei as 8.40h e vi pouco movimento, o que achei estranho mas depois entendi que havia um sistema de pulseiras de papel com cores que determinava a hora em que poderia ver e Tocar nas tão esperadas peças Lanvin.

Vejam bem, cheguei as 8.40h e a minha pulseira apenas me permitia ver a colecção às 12.05h! Imagino a que horas as pessoas devem ter chegado para começarem a ver as peças assim que a loja abriu.

Finally, today is the day that Lanvin arrives at H&M.

With so many articles, news and posts published, I realised that there was no point on publishing another one. But I could not resist and decided to say a few words because some kind of madness grabed my brain and took me to see the collection at H&M in Chiado (the only store in Portugal that will have Lanvin pieces to sell, and this if it doesn’t finish today which is most likely).

I arrived at 8.40 a.m. and saw just few people compared to what I was expecting, which was strange, but then I realized that there was a system of colored paper bracelets that determined the time that we could see and Touch the long-awaited pieces of Lanvin.

Look, I got my bracelet at 8.40 a.m. and I was only allowed to see the collection at 12.05 p.m.! I wonder at what time people should have arrived to start seeing the pieces as soon as the store opened.

The store was not so crowded.
