Velvet Sergeant from the Orient

Today’s look is somewhat different. For many years, I didn’t wear velvet and this year I decided to wear it again. I didn’t remember how warm and cozy it was, not to mention that it adds a more sophisticated look to the outfit.

The indian-inspired embroidery gives an oriental touch to the jacket, a jacket that is almost a dress. The midnight blue is a kind of luxury blue, beautiful!

O look de hoje é um pouco diferente. Há muitos anos que não usava veludo e este ano voltei a usá-lo. Já não me lembrava como é quentinho e confortável para além de fazer com que o look pareça mais sofisticado.

O bordado de inspiração indiana dá um toque oriental ao casaco, casaco este que é quase um vestido. O azul meia-noite é um azul luxuria, lindo!

Repetto & Manoush

I decided to dedicate a post to Repetto and Manoush brands that were the brands that I liked the  most on the presentation day of the summer collections of C ª das Soluções.
Manoush is a brand that I already follow for some years and I have some pieces of this brand, but it was all bought online. Finally it arrives to Portugal!
The collection is drop-dead gorgeous, I love the mint green long dress, not undoing any of the other pieces thatI show you  here, if I could, I would take it all home. I love the princess style of the brand. Only one drawback, the brand is expensive!
Repetto, to be honest, I didn't know the brand, but I became a fan. UnfortunatelyI  never practiced ballet when I was younger, but my future daughter surely will have some lessons. I think the shoes and tutu skirts are lovely (note, the collection is more than this kind of pieces), plus all the posture and elegance of the dance.

Decidi dedicar um post à Repetto e à Manoush que foram as marcas que mais gostei no dia da apresentação das coleções de verão da Cª das Soluções.
A Manoush é uma marca que já acompanho a alguns anos e tenho algumas peças da marca, mas era tudo comprado via online. Finalmente chega a Portugal!
A coleção está linda de morrer, estou apaixonada pelo vestido verde menta comprido, não desfazendo nenhuma das outras peças que aqui vos mostro, se pudesse levaria tudo para casa. Adoro o estilo princesa da marca. Apenas um senão, a marca é caríssima!
A Repetto para ser sincera não conhecia, mas fiquei fã. Infelizmente nunca pratiquei ballet quando era mais nova, mas a minha futura filha certamente irá ter umas lições. Acho encantador as sapatilhas e as saias tutu (atenção, a coleção é mais do que este tipo de peças), para além de toda a elegância e postura da dança.

New Summer 2012 Collections Preview

First of all I want to give my congratulations to Kipling who turned 25 years. I have been a fan the Kipling bags since I was little, including suitcases and all thanks to the Kipling monkey. More and more colorful, fun and trendy, the new collection includes a set of bags in partnership with the blogger Andy from Style Scrapbook.

Apart from Kipling, I could see the new collections from Miss Sixty, Killah, Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry, Lacoste watches, the modern headphones from WeSc, the varied Aztec patterns of Surkana, the lovely Nümph clothes, the peculiar shoes from Parody Passion, fantastic  boots from Portuguese brand Only 2 Me, other Portuguese brand Gluen, among many other brands that are part of the communications department of th Cª das  Soluções. There is more to show and a surprise. Stay tuned!

Primeiro que tudo queria dar os meus parabéns à Kipling que completa 25 anos. Desde pequena que fui adepta das malas da Kipling, incluindo as malas de viagem e tudo graças ao macaco mascote da marca. Cada vez mais colorida, divertida e trendy, a nova coleção inclui um conjunto de malas em parceria com a blogger Andy do Style Scrapbook.
