One Weekend, Two Destinations

 

Quinta do Lago

This weekend was of pure calm and relaxation, sleeping, eating, pool, beach and that's all!

The first stop was Montemor-o-novo, we stayed at Hotel L'and Vineyards.This hotel hosts various activities such as the annual production of its own wine cellar in the complex, production of regional products, pieces of unique design and some reprints of Portuguese furniture.
The second and last stop was Quinta do Lago, more precisely Gigi beach, where we can find one of the most famous restaurants in Algarve. It is a pleasure arriving to the beach. Surrounded by nature, lakes, a shopping area and what not. The ritual is always the same, dressed in swimming trunks and t-shirt people park their car and walk across a bridge made of poles, 650 meters long. When they arrive at the door they are immediately greeted by Gigi.

For me it was only two days but enjoy the suggestions for a relaxing time and good mood.

Este fim de semana foi de pura calma e relaxamento, dormir, comer, piscina, praia e só!

A primeira paragem foi em Montemor-o-novo e ficamos no Hotel L'and Vineyards. Este hotel promove diversas actividades como a produção anual do seu próprio vinho na adega do empreendimento, produção de produtos regionais, peças de design exclusivo e algumas reedições de mobiliário português. 

O segundo destino foi Quinta do Lago mais propriamente à praia do Gigi, onde fica o restaurante mais famoso do Algarve. Chegar a esta praia é um prazer para os nossos olhos, empreendimentos espectaculares envoltos por natureza, lagos, zonas comerciais, enfim. O ritual é sempre o mesmo, vestindo os calções de banho e a t-shirt as pessoas estacionam o carro e atravessam a pé uma ponte feita de estacas, com 650 metros de comprimento. Quando chegam à porta são logo recebidos por Gigi.

Para mim foram só dois dias mas aproveitem as sugestões para passar momentos relaxantes e de boa disposição.

Bold Stripes

This dress from Mango can be called as a cheap version of one of Prada's dresses of the summer season. Ok, only in my imagination, but it remembers me and make me feel good and that is what matters! Plans for the weekend, who have? I think this weekend I'll do something different, then I tell you!

Este vestido da Mango pode ser chamado como uma versão barata de um dos modelos dos vestidos da Prada da estação de verão. Ok só na minha imaginação mesmo, mas faz me lembrar e sentir me bem e isso é que interessa!

Wanna Fall From The Stars

If in the previous season the white dresses from Dolce Gabbana were the ones that were on the spotlight, the big trend this season are the dress with stars.

Whether it's black and white, or bold yellow and black, draped sheer chiffon or structured cigarette pants, the Dolce Gabbana star print is what everyone wants to be seen in. It's been a big hit already, featuring in editorials and on the red carpet in the past few months. 

Jessie J and Anne Hathaway wore the same dress for their respectively, Glamour and Marie Claire Covers, and Beyonce is on the cover of this month's InStyle in shimmering sequin stars. Three covers in two months is not bad for just one collection. Not to mention Spanish Vogue with three of the best models of the nineties, Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer and Helena Christensen also on this month's cover.

The Harper's Bazaar editorial image with Britney is also gorgeous with a bit of graffiti behind.

About the last image, this dress is already on the way and it will be mine.

Se na estação anterior foram os vestidos brancos da Dolce Gabbana que fizeram furor, esta estação a grande tendência são os vestido de estrelas.

 Quer se trate de dos vestidos em preto e branco,  amarelo e preto, em tecidos como o chiffon ou em calças estilo cigarette, todo o mundo quer ser visto com as estrelas da Dolce & Gabbana. Tem sido um grande sucesso, tanto em editoriais de moda como presença assídua no tapete vermelho em poucos meses.

Jessie J e Anne Hathaway usaram o mesmo vestido para as capas da Glamour e da Marie respectivamente e Beyoncé está na capa da InStyle deste mês em estrelas de lantejoulas cintilantes. Três capas em dois meses não é mau de todo para uma única colecção. A imagem da Britney para o editorial da Harper Bazaar também é lindo, com um pouco de graffiti por trás.

Quanto à última imagem, esse vestido já vem a caminho e vai ser meu!

I found this editorial from August Italian Vogue very interesting and beautiful.

The child plays the role of the caring mother, helping to dress, to makeup, to comb, reading stories and leading up to and taking a walk.

With Bianca Balti as a stoic mother figure, the looks are similarly austere from labels such as Prada, Michael Kors and Louis Vuitton in various colorful settings.

Achei este editorial da Vogue Italiana de Agosto muito interessante e bonito. 

A filha faz o papel de mãe cuidando dela, ajudando a vestir, a maquilhar, pentear, lendo histórias e até conduzindo e levando para passear

Bianca Balti representa uma figura materna estóica e o guarda-roupa é de aparência austera de marcas como a Prada, Michael Kors e Louis Vuitton em várias combinações de cores.
