Vintage Chanel Ads

I found some old Chanel ads that I thought interesting to post.

The mythical models of the nineties as Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington, Helena Christensen, Linda Evangelista,    were a constant presence in the Chanel ads.

I also found old ads where the packaging of the perfume Chanel Nº5 was quite different as  you might see.

To conclude see below one of the most beautiful Chanel Nº5 (and not only) campaigns ever in my opinion.

As míticas modelos dos anos noventa como a Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington, Helena Christensen, Linda Evagelista, eram presença constante nos anúncios da Chanel.

Também encontrei anúncios ainda mas antigos onde a embalagem do perfume Chanel Nº5 era completamente diferente como puderam ver.

My New Gadget

Applemaniac as I am could not fail to have the beautiful iPad2 (white) and today's post is dedicated to it. Easily fits into a handbag, it can be taken anywhere, access the Internet and thus to my blog! :)

I am very happy with my new toy, I already have program for the weekend!

Shiny Summer

Photographer Tavinho Costa makes Lais Ribeiro sparkle and shine for the summer 2012 campaign from Brazilian label Triya. Styled by Felipe Veloso, the Brazilian stunner showcases the collection’s sequins and prints which are emphasized by the smokey eye of makeup artist Fabio Nogueira.
Taking the pink dress from the last picture, is not really the collection that caught my attention but the production itself with bright fabrics contrasting with the clothes. Do you agree with me?


O fotógrafo Tavinho Costa faz Lais Ribeiro brilhar na campanha de verão 2012 da marca brasileira Triya. A produção pertence a Felipe Veloso, onde a cativante modelo brasileira exibe as lantejoulas e os padrões da coleção  que são enfatizadas pelos smokey eyes da autoria de Fabio Nogueira.
Tirando o vestido rosa da ultima foto, não é propriamente a roupa que me chamou a atenção mas sim a produção em si com os tecidos brilhantes a contrastarem com as roupas. Concordam comigo?

A documentary about the relationship between women and shoes.
Set on a quest to decipher—from a psychological, sociological, historical, cultural, and erotic perspective—the fiery emotions that shoes exert on most women (and on quite some men), God Save my Shoes went from New York to Los Angeles, Paris to Milan, Toronto and Florence to interview extreme shoe collectors, everyday women, such celebrities as burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland, Paris opera ballerina Marie-Agnès Gillot, and Baroness Von Neumann. We also turned to fashion historian Valerie Steele of the FIT in New York, Toronto museum curator Elizabeth Semmelhack, women's marketing expert Mary Lou Quinlan, industry mogul Vincent Camuto, Filipa Fino of Vogue USA, Caroline de Fayet of ELLE magazine, Moulin Rouge dancers, shoe fetishists, and such designers as Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Walter Steiger, Pierre Hardy, Bruno Frisoni, Vivienne Westwood, Robert Clergerie... all those that play a role in the ubiquitous shoe phenomenon!

Watch God Save My Shoes Trailer 

S. Roque Museum

Have you ever been in the San Roque Museum? It has a beautiful indoor garden filled with mirrors which allowed us to play a little bit with them.
Today you got to "know" the patient and loving official photographer of the blog, my boyfriend who you just saw in the second photo.
Both the dress and the shoes were excellent buyngs of the of online sales shopping. I have used a lot the sandals and the dress is super unusual, with wideforms, with details in a beautiful fluorescent pink color, very young and with the ruffles and bows.
What do you think of my findings?

Já alguma vez estiveram no Museu de São Roque? Tem um bonito jardim interior cheio de espelhos o que permitiu brincar um pouco com eles.

Hoje ficaram a "conhecer" o paciente e amoroso fotógrafo oficial do blogue, o meu namorado que apareceu logo na segunda foto.

Tanto o vestido como as sandálias foram excelentes compras dos saldos online. Tenho usado imenso as sandálias e o vestido é super invulgar, largo mas com formas, com detalhes num lindo rosa flurescente, muito menina e  com os folhos e laços.

Bicho d'Água Beach

Today was only my second day at the beach this summer, but today I get a good tan!
We went to São João beach in Costa da Caparica, the water was cold but the day was good to relax and to sleep in the sand under the hot sun​​, hence the tan!
After a nap, nothing like having a healthy lunch and an ice-cream as a dessert, a simple but fantastic day.
And you, what have you done in this long weekend?


Hoje foi apenas o meu segundo dia de praia deste Verão, mas hoje deu para bronzear!!
Fomos a praia de São João, na Costa da Caparica, a água essa estava gelada mas deu para relaxar na areia e até adormecer um pouco por debaixo do sol quente que se fazia, daí o bronze!
Nada como um almoço saudável depois duma soneca e como sobremesa um geladinho, um programa simples mas fantástico.
E vocês que fizeram neste fim de semana prolongado?
