Street Style August Inspiration

Today I leave you with some images of blogs that I usually follow of street styling. The main sources of inspiration are the stripes, polka dots, gold, transparencies, long skirts but mostly the natural beauty of the photos.

I would like to highlight the blog Alfaiate Lisboeta, really good, many of the images, which are here are his own.

Hoje deixo-vos algumas imagens de blogs que costumo seguir de street styling. Os principais fontes de inspiração são as riscas, as bolinhas, o dourado, as transparências, as saias compridas mas principalmente a naturalidade e beleza das fotos.

Downtown Afternoon

It has been really hot days, so good the summer is here, the heat and the good mood.
While I was living in Spain I was very fond of going to a Starbucks to drink a frappuccino to refresh but here in Lisbon I lost that habit. Suddenly I felt an urge will of drinking one so we went directly to Starbucks in Rossio that btw is located next to the beautiful Rossio train station.

My Candy Bag went out of the closet and this time for good, I can match it with everything I wear, it's wonderful. And speaking about the Candy Bag, have you seen the new autumn/winter collection?

Long weekend on the way, yeaaahhh

Têm estado dias realmente muito quentes, que bom é o Verão, o calor e a boa disposição.

Quando vivia em Espanha gostava muito de ir ao Starbucks beber um frappuccino para refrescar mas aqui em Lisboa perdi o hábito. De repente deu me uma vontade enorme de beber um e lá fomos directo para o Starbucks do Rossio que por sinal fica ao lado da Estação de comboios do Rossio.

A minha Candy Bag voltou a sair do armário e desta vez para ficar, dá para combinar com tudo o que visto, é maravilhosa. E por falar em Candy Bag já viram a nova colecção de Outono?

Fim de semana prolongado a caminho, yeaaahhh

Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry

With the sorrow upon hearing of Amy Winehouse's death, comes the sad realization that her extraordinary talent has been lost. Is tragic to think that never again will we be entertained by her soulful music or see another of her entirely unique outfits. 

Some consolation comes with reports that the troubled star left behind an unfinished album which is likely to receive a posthumous release. Also, her kooky Fifties fashion survives through the clothes she designed for Fred Perry.

The previous collections have been well received: the retro cool of Amy married well with the English brand. The new collection is already available and is very pied-de-coq and Vichy!

Profits from sales will go to Amy Winehouse foundation, which will be built soon and will help children and youth. The British brand will also make a donation to the new institution.

Com a infelicidade ao saber da morte de Amy Winehouse, vem a triste constatação de que seu talento extraordinário foi perdido. É trágico pensar que nunca mais nos vamos entreter com a sua música ou ver as suas roupas super originais. Algum consolo vem com as notícias de que a estrela deixou para trás um álbum inacabado que é susceptível de receber um lançamento póstumo. Além do mais, a sua moda fifties kooky sobrevive através das roupas que ela criou para a Fred Perry.

As coleções anteriores foram bem recebidas: o estilo retro cool de Amy casou bem com o da marca inglesa. A nova colecção já está disponível é muito pied-de-coq e vichy!

Os lucros das vendas vão para a fundação de Amy Winehouse, que será construída em breve e irá ajudar crianças e jovens. A marca britânica também vai fazer uma doação para a nova instituição.
